he Pool Room is entered through an airy hall of sea-green and shell white marble. In any season it is a place to watch the churning waters of the Rouge River while basking in the sunlight streaming through its wall of high windows.

The Marble Hall

On a few occasions, Clara Ford swam with her grandchildren, Josephine & William Clay Ford shown here.

Relatives suggest that on a few occasions, Clara Ford swam with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. When not swimming she could make use of the heated marble benches, which border the glistening white chamber.

Today, the  Pool Room houses the Henry Ford Estate Restaurant.
