he First Dam and Powerhouse circa 1911. - A small hydro-electric dam constructed across the "uncontrolled" Rouge River. It was said that the fishing was wonderful at the bottom of this structure. 

It was replaced after 5 years, when the Ford's built Fair Lane with its state of the art Powerhouse.
