he Library reflects many aspects of
Mr. and Mrs. Ford's lifestyle. It once contained 4,000 books, selected primarily for the appearance of their bindings. Today, many books in the
Library are of the hundreds collected by the Fords and kept in other areas of the home.
These books
cover topics such as gardening, landscaping, flowers, religion, and home
design. Mr. Ford enjoyed books on business enterprise, engineering, and wildlife, including two sets of the complete works of naturalist and Ford friend, John Burroughs. Also, several books in the
collection today were signed by authors, with |
