he Enclosed Porch served as an entrance for those who visited Fair Lane via the river route.  Occasionally, Mrs. Ford might pilot her electric boat, the "Callie B," up the river to transport cousins, aunts, and uncles to Fair Lane for an afternoon of visiting.
Today  the  Enclosed  Porch is used as the Henry Ford Estate Gift Shop. Filled with items that bring the Fords to mind, products offered represent the Fords' interest in children, flowers, and mechanical things. There are books written about the Fords and items that are reminiscent of the early 2Oth century.
